Pat Walters has had a rich and varied career in education – as an English teacher, Student Activities Director, and Counselor in public

high schools in Virginia, California, and Texas.  Since 1995, her focus as an educator has been academic and college advising, as she has guided students and parents through the college application process.   From 2004–2007 she was the College/Career Counselor and AP Testing Coordinator at a public high school in Austin, Texas.  

 

Color

She is a Certified Educational Planner (www.aicep.org)  whose educational credentials include a Certificate in College Admissions Advising from UC Berkeley Extension, a Master of Education in Counseling and Development from George Mason University, and a Bachelor of Science in Education from Texas Christian University.  

 

 

 

She is an Associate Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA, www.iecaonline.com), and is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC, www.nacacnet.org), the Texas Association for College Admission Counseling (TACAC), and serves as a volunteer college counselor for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas.
