Through all four years of high school, students are routinely making choices – about curriculum, standardized testing, extracurricular activities, internships, employment and volunteer work. These decisions will shape the content of their college applications. That is why I believe that focused planning for what comes AFTER high school MUST BE an integral part of what happens DURING high school.
It is not difficult to understand why students and parents might view the college application process as frenzied, stressful and overwhelming. In contrast to that view, I believe that applying to college is manageable, that there are good college matches for every student, and that resources and recommendations on every topic are readily available.
What I offer you is individual assistance throughout the planning and application process. I have worked with high school students and their families for 25 years, as a teacher and counselor. I will draw upon that experience and expertise to provide you with up-to-date information and advice as you identify the colleges that best fit your academic and personal aspirations.
